Stage 8: Newtonmore to Edinburgh

Stage 1: South through Borders country, among the rounded Southern Upland hills, the valleys of the Esk & Tweed, and in vast expanses of forestry down to Eskdalemuir. Returning north via the Pentland hills, before following the coast west along the Firth of Forth. Finally we’re dropped off into Stirling over the Gargunnock hills. Melrose, Moffat, Innerleithen & Peebles are along the route.  l
